Veradek Mason Series Hanging Kona Bowl 14" Plastic-Stone Planter - White

The Veradek Pure Series 15 Round Hanging Planter for what I’m looking for as a long-lasting planter to hang a huge batch of pretty flowers on my deck year after year is perfect. It is made of plastic so it is very light but it is also thick so it is very heavy duty. It seems like it will handle a drop or two with no problems. The color being dark is perfect to highlight any color flowers we plant in it. The 3 hanger cables are super easy to install if you have someone with a slightly mechanical mind who can look at them and understand how to loop them through themselves. The instructions that came with it refer to a different cable mounting system. Other than that little thing, I love this planter and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get one or more hanging planters to use inside or outside.

Oh boy! When this was delivered and I opened the box, I was shocked at how big the planter is. I should have read the specifications online more carefully! At first, I thought it was going to be too huge and heavy and bulky. But as I’ve had it sitting here on my dining room chair and I’ve been studying it, I’m beginning to love it. It’s made out of a very thick and sturdy plastic. The matte finish makes it look very much higher scale than it is. It almost looks like wrought iron from just a few feet away. It’s extremely sophisticated looking and I’m liking it better all the time. It has good sized drainage holes in the bottom and is roomy enough to hold several good-sized plants. The instructions that came with it indicate additional parts that were not included, but in looking at the website, I figured out how to rig up the hanging cords with the S-hook, all included. The website indicates it has been treated with UV inhibitors, which will come in handy here in Arizona. Now I’m anxious to figure out what kind of plants I want to put in it and get it hung up on my patio.
