Some reviews say arms must be attached and it ships in multiple boxes. Mine came with arms attached and in one large box. The back attaches simply enough; just slide the tracks on either side down onto the 2 arms extending up from chair until you hear them lock into place. The arm storage is a great feature. For me, there's plenty of space for remotes, meds and various items that otherwise clutter my end table. The chair is comfortable, if a little firm...but that might just be a reflexion of how broken down my old chair was. The electric reclining mechanism is amazingly quiet. Yes people, it's vinyl...not leather. Bless your heart if you thought otherwise. All in all, it's a far better chair than I expected for the price. I've sat in name brand recliners at twice the price that sat no better. I give it 5 stars without reservation.
