Ebello 36'' Massage Recliner Chair with Heat and Vibration – Soft Fabric Manual Reclining Chair for Living Room and Bedroom – Light Gray

I've reviewed exactly six items in the several years I've had a WM account. This recliner has several issues. The footrest doesn't lock into place when it's up so that when I try to recline all the way into a horizontal position, I have to hook my foot onto the footrest and push. Then, when trying to put it back into the original position, I have to kick it into place because there's no lever to lower it like with the old school recliners. The armrests are held on with Velcro. I have four cats. That's going to be a problem. The backrest has too much padding in the lumbar region so that when I recline into a horizontal position, my stomach pokes up in an unnatural, uncomfortable position. Due to the extra padding, that also means my head is left hanging in an awkward position when horizontal. Also, the chair definitely wasn't made for hardwood floors. I slip and slide like I'm at the water park. Admittedly, it's my fault for getting this chair because I wasn't paying attention. I thought it was an electric lift chair. The only redeeming quality is the massage and heat.

I'm not sure what kind of equipment came with a my chair or I should stay remote control. In the back there is a split wire with two separate colors. They are remote control that I got unplugged into one. Now the couch only vibrates /massager but it doesn't heat up. It's missing something. Here's a picture
