Bought this chair after much research about affordable desk chairs. We were not in the market for a “high end” $1,000 office chair. This M-18 chair got rave reviews so we bought it. It arrived quickly, and ai was very impressed with the quality of the packaging. Assembly was pretty straightforward, and the weight of each of the assembled parts indicated quality. This was an inexpensive chair, but NOT a cheap chair. My wife has had two back surgeries, and she is loving how supportive and comfortable this is for her. I cannot recommend this chair enough.

Arms adjust outward too.

While assembling, the arms can be placed narrow or wide. There's about a 1.25" slide left and right before tightening the screws. It is a big chair, but the arms were still not wide enough for me so I modified them. I let the arm out another 1.25" by drilling new hole locations in the arm brackets. This left me with only 2 screws holding each arm, but still very sturdy. Now I really like it! If you're handy, you can make it work.
