I havent had a fridge with an ice maker since 2003... It takes a couple of hours to make ice in trays, unless its summer, then it takes longer. This handy, compact, beauty, takes about 10 min. My new fridge will have nifty ice and water in the door, but I don't see myself parting with this ice maker - - EVER! Thanks for the quality product. No regrets in purchasing at all I'm a appliance junkie‼️ I see that the large button makes small ice and the small button makes large ice but that's a small defect other than that I'm loving it!
