The unit worked right out of the box with the exception of the remote control. Maybe the batteries that were sent along were expired. Put new batteries in and the remote still not work. Then I looked at the arrangement of the batteries in the remote.; The battery symbol in the remote is reversed with respect to the battery connection points. I reversed the orientation of the batteries and the remote works great. From the initial use, my wife, primary user, feels it will help her leg muscles. Time will tell but for now, it works.

I've had leg cramps for several weeks and thought this might help keep them flexible. I run it for 30 minutes every day and it seems to be helping. I keep it in the leg well of my desk, so the remote is handy. I don't have to drag it out and bend down to start it up and set the speed. I wouldn't rate it as any kind of workout as the machine is doing most of the work. But my legs feel good afterwards. Good value at less than half the cost of the TV name brand.
