TV is great. REMOTE is not.

This is a great tv for the money! Beautiful picture and sound quality. However, the remote often doesn't work especially the volume. It will run the volume up VERY loud on its own and then it won't do anything else, including the tv off. I have to UNPLUG the tv and start over. I'd like to order a replacement remote as this is the only problem I have with this tv. The tv itself is 5 star. The remote is one star!

Very impressed with the quality and functions available on this tv. HOWEVER, it is similar in size to a computer screen and when you are lying in bed wanting to watch the TV it becomes a virtual impossibility to “see” the selections on the screen from your bed. This aspect limits its use and is disappointing. It's an excellent price, excellent quality but we had no idea that the screen size would be a problem. The one we replaced was slightly larger and we felt like this one would be the perfect fit. Our mistake. Very disappointed but it has nothing to do with the quality of the TV.

Nice TV but poor remote control design

The TV works fine and is a great value. However, the remote control is poorly designed and difficult to control the volume using one hand. The unit is very short and the volume is half way down towards the middle of the control so it is difficult to hold in the palm of your hand and adjust the volume with your thumb. It pretty much requires you to hold the control with one hand and adjust the volume with a finger from your other hand.
