Our under counter Icemaker died ten days before 11 folks came for Thanksgiving week. That means three meals a day for a full house. And the Thanksgiving feast with an overflowing frig,' coolers on the deck, holding drinks and food overflow! I ordered this little icemaker expecting very little. What a great surprise! You add water about every two to three ice production cycles, and the ice cubes are precious little hollow bullets that are easy to chew. I would fill up a very large cup with a cycle of ice and add it to the designated drink ice cooler. Effortless and MUCH ice. I purchased 4 bags of ice for icing down the drinks, and never needed more. I LOVE this little icemaker. It makes a tiny bit of noise, but I suspect that was because of the quiet we are used to in the kitchen. The black color matched my black granite perfectly! YEA! Another Thanksgiving with no issues!
