What a convenient little ice maker. It starts making ice in less than 10mins (9 cubes every 5-10mins). It takes about an hour to fill the ice basket. There are 2 sizes, large is about half of a regular ice cube and small is about a third. The ice shape are cylinders with a hole in it. The water tank takes about 40oz of water and from what I can tell that makes 2 baskets of ice. The noise level is about the same as an ice machine in a fridge including the sounds of dropping ice. It’s also pretty efficient, it’s a cooler so the ice stays in there with no power being use and the ice slowly melts back into the water tank. When the ice level reaches too low, the system turns on to chill the cooler and make the ice. Then turns off right after. It’s easy to clean too. I just hit it with the soapy sponge, pour water in and there’s a drain at the bottom to drain the unit. Wipe dry and ready for use again. Coming from a fridge with no ice maker this is perfect for our family of 4. Never runs out of ice and if it does it’s 10mins for 9 cubes.
