No Battery. Plug %26 Use.

These are great to have on hand. OBD plugs into most modern cars. It has the ability to do battery tests, scan for dashboard light codes, run performance checks, and do O2 sensor testing. Easy to use. For the most part just follow the on screen prompts using the arrows and ok button. There is a QR code in the directions booklet that list more in depth ways to use the device. If you have a sensitive vehicle that has random service/dashboard codes, this OBD reader can tell you what is going on.

User friendly operation

It worked just fine on my 2011 Nissan Frontier.. I have a a service engine light on. It gave me the code and the solutions to fix it. Although my code has 8 different solutions and it doesnt pinpoint the exact issue. Those machines are a whole lot more expensive tho so Im aware of its capabilities. Its still nice to know the code and have somewhere to start. I was able to clear the code immediately for the moment.. that light is definitely annoying. The code reader is super easy to operate and user friendly. You do need to scan a QR code and download the directions. It came with a sturdy bag to keep everything in. Overall im pleased with its performance.
