I absolutely love Lion Brand yarns. I have only used Hometown once, I had a good experience with it. I am trying it again instead of using my go to Wool-Ease Thick and Quick super bulky just for a change. I am making a hoodie with it so we'll see. Shipping was terrible, though.😔

Lovely yarn and so soft. The color gradients are subtle from one color to the next. That is achieved by one strand of the previous color blended with the 2nd color, then 2 strands together to create a solid, eventually removing one strand and adding one strand of a new color. There are long lengths of each change. I started the neckline of my op down sweater in navy blue, which blended to navy and red. The next color change will be navy and gray... and so on through 5? color changes. I think the label photo is fairly accurate. My photos are a bit lighter and brighter than the actual yarn.
