The assembly was very easy. The chair is sturdy starting at the base. Not plastic, but steel. Looks amazing and is wide enough and comfortable enough for a larger person. The only thing I noticed is that the qr code was missing from the instructions to activate your warranty. I looked on the box the chair came in and the qr code wasn't on their either. I'll go to the website. Highly recommend!
