Time and Tru Women's High Rise Denim Shorts, 5" Inseam, Sizes 0-20

I sized up from a 2 to a 4 for a baggier look and a comfier fit but my true size would be fit. Love the length. My mom jeans for the summer. I’m 5’2” waist 25, hips 36. 125lbs if that helps. Without my butt hold up these jeans I would need a size 2

These are super high quality shorts and I'm amazed at the overall structure of them. There's no stretch at all and give nice “rigid denim” vibes. Definitely very much A-line and poof out just a tad but you can easily pin them back or just roll with it! Amazing color and I LOVE how long the fly is. Longer fly = more flattering. Usually you find this in higher end brands but it's clear Walmart and others are catching on to this detail. So thrilled with these and will be ordering in the other colors. I'm LOST why the reviews say these run small. They absolutely do NOT run small, at all. My stats: 5ft3, 113lbs, measurements are 32-24-33, broad shoulders and square hips, sizing is typically XXS-XS/24/0 or, lately, a kids size L/12-14. Tbh, over the last year it's been so hard to find clothes that fit because everything is running very large! In fact, I've actually been having to buy shorts from the children's section which is a tad humiliating at 32 years old. Thank goodness that I've finally found a pair in the women's section that work!! If you're petite like me, I think there's a few things to consider when making a judgment call on what size to get. Pay attention to the size disclosed and/or any stats disclosed in making your choice on how to size these. I've noticed a pattern with majority of reviews claiming they run small….if you're a 6 or less, I wouldn't worry about sizing up unless you want them to look VERY VERY VERY baggy.
