Time and Tru Women's High Rise Patch Pocket Denim Shorts, 4" Inseam, Sizes 0-20

These shorts are really cute but unfortunately, I bought both a size 4 and 2 and the 4 feels too big and the 2 is a little uncomfortable. I feel like if they had 2% spandex instead of 1%, they'd fit perfect but because there's very little stretch, the 4 is too loose in the waist and the 2 fits but I feel like the waist area would stretch while wearing and end up feeling uncomfortable because of high percentage of cotton. I got both light and dark wash and dark denim always seems to fit tighter than lighter wash so I think I could get away with size 2 in lighter wash, but still unsure if I'll keep or not because I'd just prefer 2% spandex over 1%. For the price, they're definitely a good buy. I have other brand shorts that have 2% spandex that I love so at least now I know what to look for as far as fabric content when I'm looking at shorts. If you're in between sizes like I am, I'd recommend trying both sizes to see what works best for you and which fits better just because there's not a lot of stretch in them.
