It's exactly like the one I was trying to replace which I've had for years. The price seems a little high. Why I wanted this type is that lid stays closed pretty tightly- I drop things a lot and it makes less of a mess.

Surprisingly Delightful
We were looking for a blue butter dish with cover to coordinate with our outdoor dining decor but did not find anything suitable and chose the Signora as an interim because it was inexpensive, a neutral color and transitional in design. It turned out to be a great choice. It is plastic and unbreakable (a plus around the pool), the timeless design is elegant and a great value. The lid turns into a platform, which is an added unique feature. All and all, we were just thrilled to add it to our outdoor dining experience. And it is great indoors as well. Walmart always provides a great selection and we came close to finding a nice blue one but just as happy with our "interim" design which we will love and use for a very long time.
