Decent buy

This moisture meter works surprisingly well. We cut maple and red oak trees off our property had them cut to 1 inch thick, dried them in our garage for a couple months and tested them with meter until they read 6%. This meter was very handy and the price was really great.

Useing it more than I thougt I would

Excellent product, I have other general tools and I have not been disappointed yet. Nice it has its own calibration cover so you can tell if it is staying with in parameters set by the tool engineers. I check my firewood, and wood turning blanks to moisture level before using.Must have if you burn firewood to confirm below 20% moisture.
