This slow cooker came fast and it's very nice and with the price it's extremely nice for this senior on a fixed income. It is however a bit bigger than I actually wanted but price comparisons of other slow cookers sent me to the cart with this one. Tonight I'm making Salisbury Steak in this and will freeze several meals. The sale on glass freezer containers was also great so now I do more freezing and the meals look fine and no frostbite.

I have a small kitchen and have wanted to make homemade soup for a long time, but couldn't spare a burner and didn't have a pot big enough to make soup. The slow cooker is both a "pot" big enough to make soup in and a "burner" to cook the soup on. Plus, it is very stable (can't tip over) and it's easy to clean. Also, you can make pot roast, side dishes, chilli, dips, and desserts in it, too. And there are many,many slow cooker recipes online, so I will be using this slow cooker a lot.
