Evenflo Eris One-Hand Playard with Bassinet (Coastal Coffee)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My third daughter is 4 months old and we received the Eris one hand playard with bassinet from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I wish so badly we had this with our first! It's lightweight and has the easiest set up of any playard we have used in the past. The transition between bassinet and playard is simple with one easy zip. It also has much more to offer with the side zip mesh panel to allow room to crawl and play as they grow. My favorite feature is the SensorySoothe technology which is a sleek sound bar feature with soothing changing lights, sound machine, mobile toy for entertainment, and most importantly a volume control. One major bonus is the neutral colors are so much more aesthetically pleasing in our home than the traditional bulky black fabric or loud prints of the past. My sister is pregnant with her first and has already ordered this for herself because of how much I love it for my daughters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying this playard is seriously beautiful! Its design completely fits the vibe of my home and isn't an eye sore. The colors are muted and sophisticated, the design is modern and sleek. Not one complaint here about the overall design of this Erie playard! The SensorySoothe technology was nice to have, but I still prefer my other portable sound machine over this one. However, it was easy to use and did the job. It allowed my baby to easily fall and stay asleep for nap time. I was able to move through the different sounds easy and adjust volumes to my liking with ease. Love that you can move the sound bar along the top of the playard anyway you choose. It moves easily but is also sturdy and wasn't concerned about it falling. The only “hard” part of this was switching from bassinet to playard mode. The two modes are great to have as it grows with your little one and you can just use it as a bassinet in the living room and not have to lug the bassinet in my room around the house. Putting on the bassinet portion took a bit of time to do the first time. I had to read the instructions a few times to get it right, but after doing it a few times it was easy! The instructions could have been easier to follow, nonetheless I figured it out and love it! Right out of the box this playard was super simple to “put together”. There's little to no connecting involved. Press down and bam, solid playard in less than 1 minute time. The construction is top notch! It's a solid and sturdy piece of baby furniture. The zip open sides are great for grandparents who don't always want to get baby from the top and bend all the way over the top of the playard to grab baby. It also allows for baby to crawl in and out with ease:) the mesh panels are sturdy and great quality. The zipper is smooth and doesn't get stuck while trying to open and close the mesh. Overall this playard doesn't leave much room for improvement. It's sleek, modern, but most of all safe and secure!
