Tramontina 10 in Professional Nonstick Aluminum Fry Pan

This frying pan is the perfect size at 10". The sides are shaped not too high so you can get a spatula in there easily to flip an egg omelet, etc. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and has heavy duty rivets holding handle on. Silicone handle is oven safe- I had it in oven at 475 a few times with no problem. I use the microwave so much less because what ever I put into this frying pan to cook or especially reheat, I just throw it in this pan. No lid, but have 2 old lids that mysteriously fit this, I think because of the shape of the top just makes lids of close size fit. I love this thing.

Got this to replace my commercial Winco 12-inch non-stick pan, which had started to warp after several years of hard use. It seems very nicely made for the price, with a decent heft and good finishing. The few times I've cooked with it so far it's performed well. Nice balance, and the standard non-stick surface is as expected. The included handle guard is nice, with a contoured bottom side, and feels secure to use. There are a few differences with my commercial pan. The Tramontina is not as deep, and only two rivets hold the handle to the pan as opposed to three on the Winco (see pics - Tramontina is on the right in both photos). It also appears that the aluminum is very slightly thinner, but not to any significant degree. As I said, it cooks well so far. Good, fast, and even heat distribution, and tossing ingredients is not hard (although not as easy as in the Winco with it's deeper dimension). All in all an excellent pan for the money. I do recommend it.
