So, at this point, I gave it the best 5-star rating with the understanding that I just bought the chair and it still hasn't passed the test of time. All the other chairs' lift mechanisms failed within 18 months. Let's hope this chair does much better!

I had a little difficulty putting back on chair. The directions didn't state to leave the arms slightly loose until got back on. The chair is comfortable and the padding in the seat helps with sore bottoms when have to sit at desk for over 8 hours. We have tried many different chairs and this one has been the best so far.
