When I brought the large, heavy box down to my office and opened it and saw all the pieces I closed the box. I set aside aside for months until my old chair died. It looked like a headache to assemble. Was i ever wrong! When the old chair gave out, I brought out the new chair, still in the box. I laid them out the parts to the chair and was pleasantly surprised at how wisely it was made and pakaged. The small parts were all labeled in a self-contained package, warious screws, screw cap covers, a handled hex wrench. And there were extra pieces included. The directions were easy. You need to pay attention to "front" on the base that attaches to the bottom cushion. Take a look at the chair cushion in that, and future pictures, and figure out which is the front of the bottom cushion. Then just align the base with the arrow facing "front". When attaching the last piece, the back of the chair, push the fabric down around the metal screw holes. That way you'll be able to see them when you line up the screws through the armrests, which is how they attach. (I'll add pics.) Once assembled (it took me 45 min, box opening to finish), this chair is wonderful. I'm not a big woman, 5'8", 140lbs, and I wondered if I ordered too big a chair. Not at all. The height is so adjustable that I can be flat-footed, or toes to the floor. And I have long legs, a 33" inseam. It rolls smoothly. The weight of this chair is a plus as I can lean over pretty far to reach for something without fear of it tilting over. It's also super comfy. I'm 70. A very young 70, but with my old chair, my back ached at the end of the day, even though I'm up and down throughout the day. Not with this new chair. And with the way the seat is made, I seem to sit up straighter as I work. If I have a complaint, it's against myself for not putting the chair together sooner!

Quick and easy assembly. Smooth moving it while ating in. Love the color and arm rests. Not comfortable to sit in several hours at a time as seat feels a little shy on padding. Lastly, the adjustment for leaning back is barely noticeable. Side adjustment barely shows a difference. Adjustment located under seat for rocking or leaning back is barely noticeable if at all. Directions for back adjustment knob (located under chair seat) say to adjust while sitting in chair. I would have to have longer arms like a monkey to reach the knob while sitting in chair. I am disappointed to say the least.
