Perfect for enthusiastic cooks and older people

I am delighted with this can opener. I place it on the can, it positions itself on the can, I push a button, and it opens the can while I tend to cooking. With a manual can opener, opening cans always took time away from what was sautéing on the stove, risking burning the food. I love that I don't have to actively tend this opener. It also leaves a safe edge on the can and lid, so I no longer have to worry about pets getting cut if they get in the trash. And, the fact that this charges with a USB instead of constantly using batteries is wonderful. It took me a minute to figure out how to get the lid off after it had been cut, but now I've got the knack, it works great. And, it fits in a drawer instead of taking up counter space like my mom's electric can opener did. And it's cute, with a nice color. Great product - highly recommend.
