Choosing the right size tree topper depends on the height and fullness of your tree.

• For smaller trees (under 6 feet), a topper around 8-10 inches usually works well.
• Taller or fuller trees can handle larger toppers, like 12 inches or more.
• Make sure the topper isn't too heavy for the top branch, and check the product's weight and attachment style for a secure fit.

Measuring your tree and reviewing product details can help you find a topper that looks balanced and stays in place.

Most lighted tree toppers are designed to work with a variety of artificial and real trees.

• Check if your tree has a sturdy top branch to support the topper's weight.
• Battery-operated toppers offer flexibility, while plug-in models may need a nearby outlet or extension cord.
• Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for safe installation and use.

It's a good idea to test the topper before placing it on the tree to make sure it lights up properly and fits securely.

If your tree topper is leaning, try these tips:

• Trim or bend the top branch to create a flat, sturdy base.
• Use twist ties, floral wire, or the included attachment to secure the topper in place.
• For heavier toppers, consider adding extra support with clear fishing line tied to a higher branch.

Adjusting the position and securing the topper can help it stay upright throughout the holiday season.

Many tree toppers are made with safety in mind, but it's important to take precautions:

• Choose toppers with secure attachments to prevent them from falling.
• Keep electrical cords and batteries out of reach of children and pets.
• Opt for toppers without small detachable parts if you have young kids or curious pets.

Supervising children and pets around the tree can help prevent accidents and keep your decorations looking great.

Proper storage helps keep your tree topper in good shape for next year.

• Remove batteries from lighted toppers to prevent corrosion.
• Wrap delicate parts in tissue paper or bubble wrap to avoid damage.
• Store the topper in a sturdy box, away from heavy items that could crush it.

Keeping your topper in a cool, dry place can help preserve its appearance and function for many seasons to come.
