If you’re looking for alternatives to suction cups, there are several options depending on your surface and needs:

• Adhesive hooks: These can stick to smooth surfaces and are often removable.
• Command strips: Great for damage-free hanging on walls and tiles.
• Double-sided tape: Works for lightweight items on glass or tile.
• Magnetic hooks: Useful if your surface is metal.

Always check the weight limits and compatibility with your surface before using any alternative.

Replacing suction cups is pretty straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Remove the old suction cup gently to avoid damaging the surface.
2. Clean the area with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly.
3. Select a new suction cup that matches the size and style you need.
4. Press the new suction cup firmly onto the surface, making sure it’s flat and air-free.

Replacement suction cups are available in various sizes and shapes, so you can find one that fits your item at Walmart.

If your suction cup isn’t sticking, it could be due to several factors:

• Dirty surface: Dust or residue can prevent a good seal.
• Damaged cup: Cracks or warping reduce suction.
• Moisture: Too much or too little moisture affects grip.
• Surface texture: Suction cups work best on smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass or tile.

Cleaning both the cup and the surface, and ensuring they’re dry, can help restore suction.

Sometimes you can restore a suction cup’s grip with a few simple steps:

• Wash the suction cup with warm, soapy water and rinse well.
• Let it dry completely or lightly dampen it before applying.
• Press firmly onto a clean, smooth surface to remove air bubbles.

Results may vary depending on the condition of the suction cup and the surface. If it’s cracked or misshapen, replacing it might be the best option.

Picking the right suction cup size depends on what you’re hanging and the surface:

• Weight: Heavier items need larger or heavy-duty suction cups.
• Surface area: Make sure the cup covers enough space for a secure hold.
• Hook or pad style: Choose based on whether you need to hang or secure an item.
