Choosing the right size message bottle depends on what you plan to use it for. Here are a few tips to help you decide:

• Travel: Smaller bottles (around 50ml to 100ml) are great for carrying lotions, oils, or perfumes on the go.
• Home Use: Larger bottles (200ml and up) work well for refilling soap dispensers, shampoos, or massage oils in your bathroom or kitchen.
• DIY Projects: Consider the amount of product you want to store or gift. If you’re making homemade blends, smaller bottles might be more practical.

Think about your storage space and how often you’ll refill to find the best fit for your needs.

Many message bottles on this page are designed to safely hold essential oils, especially those made from glass or BPA-free plastic. Look for bottles with leak-proof seals and roller or pump tops, which help dispense oils without spills. If you’re working with strong or pure essential oils, glass containers are often preferred since they won’t react with the oils. Always check the product description for compatibility, and make sure to clean bottles thoroughly before switching between different oils or liquids.

To clean a pump bottle, follow these steps for best results:

1. Rinse the bottle and pump with warm water to remove any leftover product.
2. Add a small amount of mild dish soap and fill the bottle halfway with warm water.
3. Pump the soapy water through the dispenser a few times.
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, pumping again to clear out any soap.
5. Let all parts air dry completely before refilling.

This routine helps keep your bottles fresh and ready for reuse, whether you’re storing lotions, oils, or soaps.

Many message bottles featured here are designed with travel in mind. Look for options labeled as leak-proof, with secure caps or locking pumps to prevent spills in your bag. Compact sizes (typically under 100ml) are ideal for air travel and fit easily into toiletry bags. Always double-check airline regulations for carry-on liquids, and make sure the bottle is tightly sealed before packing. Using travel-friendly bottles can help keep your essentials organized and mess-free on the go.

Customizing your message bottle is simple and adds a personal touch. Here are some easy ideas:

• Labels: Use waterproof labels or stickers to identify contents. Some bottles come with blank labels included.
• Markers: Permanent markers work well on plastic and glass surfaces for quick notes.
• Decorative Tape: Add washi tape or colored tape for a fun look and extra grip.
• Charms or Ribbons: Tie a ribbon or attach a charm to the neck for easy identification.

Just make sure any decorations don’t interfere with the pump or roller mechanism for safe and easy use.
