Choosing the right fan controller depends on your fan type and how you want to control it.

• Check if your fan is AC or DC powered—controllers are often specific to the motor type.
• Decide if you prefer wall-mounted, handheld, or wireless remote options.
• Look for features like speed adjustment, light dimming, and timer functions.
• Make sure the controller is compatible with your fan's brand and model.

Reading product descriptions and compatibility details can help you find a controller that fits your needs and setup.

Many fan controllers are designed for easy DIY installation, especially handheld remotes or plug-in speed adjusters.

• Always follow the manufacturer's instructions closely.
• Turn off power at the circuit breaker before starting any wiring.
• Wall-mounted controllers may require basic electrical work, so if you're unsure, consider hiring a qualified electrician.

Safety is key—double-check compatibility and installation steps to avoid issues. If you need help, Walmart offers customer support and installation guides online.
