Coat Rack Base(895)

Choosing the right coat rack depends on your space and needs. Here are a few tips to help you decide:

• Measure your area: Make sure the rack fits comfortably without blocking walkways.
• Consider capacity: Think about how many coats, hats, or bags you need to hang.
• Look for stability: Weighted bases, like marble or metal, can help prevent tipping.
• Style matters: Pick a design that matches your entryway, hallway, or office decor.

Browsing the product details and customer reviews on Walmart.com can also help you find the best fit for your home.

Most freestanding coat racks come with step-by-step instructions and all the hardware you’ll need. Here’s a general approach:

1. Lay out all parts and check them against the instruction manual.
2. Start by assembling the base for stability.
3. Attach the main pole and secure it tightly.
4. Add hooks or arms as directed, making sure they’re evenly spaced.
5. Double-check all connections before using.

If you run into any issues, Walmart’s customer support can help with assembly questions or missing parts.

Keeping your coat rack clean helps it last longer and look great. Here’s how:

• For metal racks: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
• For wooden racks: Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners that could damage the finish.
• For marble bases: Clean with a gentle, pH-neutral cleaner and avoid abrasive pads.

Regular dusting and checking for loose screws can help keep your coat rack in top shape.

Most freestanding coat racks are designed to be portable, so you can move them as needed. However, some models with weighted bases or solid wood construction may be heavier. It’s a good idea to:

• Remove coats and bags before moving to prevent tipping.
• Lift from the base for better balance.
• Ask for help if the rack is especially heavy or large.

Always check the product details for weight information if portability is important to you.

Replacement parts like hooks or screws may be available, depending on the specific coat rack model. Here’s what you can do:

• Check the product page on Walmart.com for available replacement parts or accessories.
• Contact Walmart’s customer service with your order details for assistance.
• Keep your assembly manual, as it often lists part numbers for easy reference.

Availability can vary, so reaching out directly is the best way to find the right parts for your coat rack.
