In crafting, bedazzled refers to decorating items with sparkling embellishments like rhinestones, gems, or studs. You can use bedazzling kits to add a touch of shine and personality to clothing, shoes, accessories, or art projects. The process usually involves attaching these decorative pieces using glue, heat tools, or sewing. Bedazzling is popular for making everyday items stand out and is a fun way to express creativity in DIY crafts.

• Start by choosing the item you want to decorate, such as a shirt or tote bag.
• Pick your rhinestones or gems from the kit and plan your design.
• If your kit includes glue, apply a small amount to the back of each gem and press it onto the surface.
• For hotfix kits, use the applicator tool to heat and attach the rhinestones.
• Let everything dry or cool completely before using your decorated item.

Always follow the instructions included with your kit for best results and safety.

Yes, you can bedazzle shoes and phone cases! Many bedazzling kits include flatback rhinestones and strong glue suitable for smooth surfaces like phone cases and flexible materials like shoes. Just make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying gems. For shoes, focus on areas that won’t bend too much to help the decorations stay put. Allow plenty of drying time for the glue to set before wearing or using your item.

• Hotfix rhinestones have a heat-activated adhesive on the back. You use a special applicator tool or iron to attach them to fabric.
• Glue-on rhinestones require you to apply glue manually to secure them to surfaces like paper, shoes, or phone cases.

Hotfix is great for textiles, while glue-on works well for a wider range of surfaces. Choose the type that fits your project and materials.

• Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying rhinestones.
• Use the right adhesive for your material—some kits include specialty glue for extra hold.
• Press each gem firmly and allow plenty of drying time.
• For items that get lots of use, avoid placing rhinestones on areas that bend or rub frequently.

Following these tips can help your bedazzled creations stay sparkling longer.
