Its basic ethernet cat6 cable, it is capable of acheiving specified speed per rating. it is not insulated very well so it can get interference if you run this in an attic across power lines, also if you are planning on using this for POE, prior to doing attic or inside wall runs, uncoil this cable and do a test from your POE switch to the device you want to run, depending on the POE rating, (POE , POE ) if its a higher power device this cable will melt. Basic low power POE devices should work fine though. If it does not start smoking and melting after a few minutes it should be safe to run inside a structure, if it does start smoking unplug it and buy a different cable.

It is an ethernet cable. It doesn't need to be fancy because preferably you're going to hide it anyways and it fits that role well. Great speeds, from my router I'm getting over 700Mbps and that is mostly router related. It is durable. trust me my daughter has tested that. Very good product , save your money and buy this onn cable. I just wanted to let everyone know that this lan cable will work if you are hard wiring your tv lan connection to your cable router. I was amazed after connecting my hiscense u6 to my tv and router. I was getting constant buffering with my Xfinity wifi even with the 200 gig plan. This onn cable was a life saver I no longer have buffering and I think my overall picture quality is better. Don't worry your tv will self detect the cable . But I went into my settings and turned my wifi off. For 5 dollars it's a steal I definitely will be buying more onn items in the future. The quality and value are great

I received a cable that did not have any noticeable flaws. The cables in this listing are listed as CAT6 which should have a bandwidth of 10Gbps up to 180 feet. The item description uses 1Gbps despite the cable length being under that threshold. HOWEVER the cable I received had a defect in which up to 4 of the 8 connections was not connected properly, this limited the cable bandwidth to only 100Mbps. This cable was limited to 1/10th of it's advertised bandwidth and a whopping 1/100th of the true CAT6 specification.

It broke on me after using it for not even nearly 3-4 months. The pin that latched, got broken off when I put it in my PC because I switch it back and forth on my PC and Xbox.
