This shower filter's performance is top notch. It really ellevates your hair and skin. Within several days there was a noticeable difference. It was easy to install and for the price it's a steal. I would recommend trying this product. You will not be disappointed.

easy to assemble, works great for my hair color not getting stripped out so quickly %26 it keeps that nasty orange scum at bay! sadly we must have extremely hard water as my filter definitely needs to be replaced more frequently, but even still it does work great for its purpose

Our town put twice as much chlorine in the water as they use to in order to combat bacteria in the treatment system. This filter has done wonders removing it and really makes a difference on your hair and skin. It has not effected the water flow rate at all and only adds an inch (if that) to the length of the water supply line to the showerhead. I will add - this is not a water softener. If only works effectively at removing chlorine.

This filter has made an incredible difference in my shower. My skin/hair feels softer and healthier, the water doesn't burn my eyes anymore, and I just feel cleaner. Everyone who uses my shower loves it! I've taken showers in homes that had insanely expensive water filtration systems…now MY shower feels just like that (for a tiny fraction of the price!). I've not had any trouble with it leaking and it was very easy to install…just twist on, then connect your shower hose /head. I'll keep using these filters as long as they keep making them!

This little filter makes a huge difference. We recently moved into a house with no water softener system (like we had in our previous house) and immediately felt the negative effects of hard water. These filters have really allevited the effects of hard water on our skin and hair.

Its universal to standard shower heads but not handle shower heads just a heads up if your trying to fit it to handle shower head mine hung for couple days til bought standard head but the filter itself is awesome for the value. My hair/skin is super-soft and not as much hard water build up in my tub during cleaning I noticed. Water flow has a little less pressure to be expected if the filter truly works.

I have used these filters for many years... The quality has dropped a little they leak easily... once you change the filter... They were great and work great just don't last as long... But affordable and work great when they work... Water pressure is high for cleaning the skin... little assembly needed

Although it was easily attached, it significantly slows water pressure. I bought the product to filter out Florine and chlorine. I have no idea to tell about the Florine , but I know I do smell chlorine still in my water, but not as bad as regular tap water so it does Help with the reduction of chlorine in the stream.

Great product but after 4 days of use the filter seems to be clogging itself. The pressure dropped drastically and now isn't sufficient to shower. I've disassembled the filter and inspected it, everything looks good and there's no blockages in sight. I'm pretty sure the filter itself is the problem. I will be removing it and don't think I'll purchase replacement filters to try an see if it works again. More of a loss of 25$

I can't evaluate the effectiveness of this filter because it's going back to Walmart. I've had it installed for 24 hours and two showers later it's going back due to poor design. Like the reviews say, this thing leaks. Even with plumbers tape, which is not included, there's a leak because the threads on the filter housing are so wide. I torqued it down to the point I thought the whole thing would break, and there was still a tiny trickle. I don't want any leaks. I want water to come out of only the shower head and not bypass the filter. I'm sure for non-OCD people this could be an okay product, but for me it's a no-go.
