Great little laptop. Only thing I don’t like and didn’t realize this until after I had purchased it is that it doesn’t have the 10 key number pad to the right. Other than that it’s good. Runs fast not slow.

I picked this up late October 2022 and its currently May 2024, I am an IT professional and independently employed Tech consultant with nearly 20 years of enterprise tech experience. I have daily driving this laptop for the past 2 years for remote work and light gaming and for the on sale price of $279.99 that I bought it for this machine continues to impress. All thoughts I have are listed below but keep in mind this is NOT a machine that will wow you. Thin of it as a Toyota Corolla, it works fine, costs nothing, and its reliable as long as you take care of it. Creaky and a little flimsy, I would not give this to someone who doesn't take care of their things, but if you don't slam it around its an outstanding value. I picked up some metal elevation feet on amazon because the rubber pads the machine comes with fall off. PROS: INSANE value, price to performance is outstanding. Compare against similar priced machines with 13th gen Celerons and Pentiums and the 11th gen i5 doubles their speed. Has an expandable m.2 format SATA drive port (NOT NVME), I bought a small 2TB drive and plopped it in in a matter of minutes. 16GB of RAM is unreal value if the price is under $300 even in 2024 You can boost the wattage on the CPU/GPU in the bios up to 30W (from 15) and it CAN actually game (on the 16GB model) if you do this 60 fps in esports titles (League of Legends, Rocket League, Diablo 2 Remaster) and 30 in AAA (Elden ring, Persona 5, Dragon Quest 11). This machine works great for spreadsheets and word documents and with 16GB of RAM it plows through daily tasks. Keyboard is Passable operation wise though does have some odd numlock settings. Screen is clean and clear but has cons (listed in next section) Speakers are passable HDMI out works great Bluetooth and Wifi work fine Type C works great (does not charge laptop) for headsets Touchpad is really much better than it deserves to be and supports gestures. Webcam works fine At minimal wattage the machine has 4 hours of continuous usable battery, its fine. Hinges on screen show no signs of damage after 2 years of daily use. Win 11 Included Will continue to run all office and productivity applications until there is a hardware failure. Its light enough that travel use and remote work are a non issue. CONS: The fingerprint reader can be picky if you're fingers are swollen or damp. The screen is VERY glossy and not bright enough for full sunlight. So much glare on the screen! Creaks every time you look at it. No backlit keyboard. Microphone is trash, you 100% need some kinda headset for Teams and Discord. Numlock and Function Lock are wonky when you are learning to use them its frustrating. 12V barrel charger, you'll want to order some spares and leave them around your house since it cannot charge via type C.
