Hyper Bicycles 36V 700C Electric E-Bike, Adult Ages 14+, 250W Mid-Drive Motor, Matte White

The Bicycle is awesome. However, it arrived damaged. The LCD screen for the speed/battery had to be jerry rigged to stay on as the attachment point broke. I thought about getting a refund but just used some zip ties which sort of interfere with the screen but is still usable. I previously tried super glue but it worked then came undone. But other than that the bicycle itself is great for the price. only about 300 something dollars. I can't expect perfection on a bicycle at that price considering most ebikes are usually about 1000 dollars, and regular non electric bikes are about in the 2 to 300 range, I figured I'll just deal with it since the bike itself still works and I found a work around, plus, it's a pain to disassemble and then try to repack it in the torn up box to take back to walmart. I really WISH the bicycle LCD screen was made of either metal, or, something that wouldn't break on the attachment point. Like something more easily repairable but I don't think there is a part they could even send me or I could buy extra that could fix it, so zip ties it is I guess. I also wish they used a LiFePO4 battery instead of standard batteries as the range is not that good at only around 20 miles, if you use only on the first power level up hills and regular human power on flat and down hill you can stretch that out more. But once again, at this price, you can't be too picky. It does what it needs to do, and when the battery is going, it goes well. Replacements however, I think is like 200 something dollars, so I bought another bike just for the battery when this one eventually dies. Also, I really REALLY wish it had built in lights, at least for the rear. Lights are very important for other cars seeing you at night. Would have been handy but I can just add my own. What I really wish is there was some way to fix the LCD holder thing. It's just really annoying having to use a zip tie for it. I'd give this bike a 5 out of 5 stars if not for that.
