This blanket is very warm even before you turn it on. The sherpa side is very comfy. The low temperature setting is enough for me. It gets plenty warm if you put it on a higher setting. The size is really big enough for two people to snuggle under. I love it! This is my fourth purchase.

i ordered one that i thought was identical to this one for Xmas the year before last and it stopped working (through no fault of the manufacturer) so i wanted to reorder the exact same one, because we loved it. This looks the same, but definitely is not. it doesn't get as warm. and the placement of the control is an ongoing source of contention. im going to look for another one asap to replace this mediocre wanna- be.

Very Disappointed-Unsafe
The blanket is so soft and cozy. Nice color. Good plug that looks like it will not come disconnected easily. The bad part- that I can feel the wires sticking out. I can touch the actual wire that is not remotely covered by fabric. I've owned many heated blankets, and never have I experienced this issue. It's a shame because it's nice otherwise, but that is not safe.
