Finally, I have found, at least part of the answer to his chronic freezing issue. Living with someone who stays cold, even during the summer months, is agonizing. I bought him this banket for Christmas and the "I'm freezing!" comments have dramatically reduced. Also, I no longer have to sleep in the library downstairs simple because it's cooler. He has not complained once about the wires being uncomfortable, too little heat, or the size. Summer is rapidly approaching, and this will be the year my furbaby and I will not be panting, trying to cool of. The heat of this blanket is easily controlled with a dial system, is very low-maintenance, and pleases even the most skeptical person in our home. I was outta town taking care of my 91y Mother I discovered her electric blanket was not working! I ordered it and it was there the next day as she was discharged from Hospital. The blanket is so much more than I expected! Serpa lined good heat control (I wish the wires were just a bit longer for placement on headboard but it worked fine) I wish I needed one at home because I LOVE IT!!
