Oh Lord am I glad I purchased this blanket. I did boo-coo research on electric blankets before choosing this one. 'This particular blanket has more coils than the others so the outside edges are not cold should your leg venture that way in the middle of the night. The fake fur is wonderful, so soft and comforting. The blanket has several inches at the top and bottom so tucking it in at the end of the bed is worry free, no broken coils. I have slept better under this particular blanket than I have in years. There are no hot spots, the controls are easy to use although no instructions came with it.. It will automatically shut off if you forget to shut it off in the morning.

The only thing is with the cords could be a little bit lingers or at least the programmer. It had to be plugged in at the foot of the bed which means had to plug in and turn on down at the foot of the bed in order to avoid the cords safely, but otherwise, this blanket is fantastic! It's warm, it's heavy, and it's so soft. I got this for my friend, and she's in love with it. Now I want one for myself.
