I've only had it about a month but so far it works very well I normally have a heating pad on high to keep my feet warm %26 hands warm but with this one on warm or low is as high as I can stand it I'll turn it on high for about 15 minutes before getting into bed and is toasty warm so I'll have to turn it down to warm. It's so soft and smooth feeling as well as double controls and a 10 hr automatic shut off just in case you forget to turn it off when you get out of bed.
