I have been looking for a good radio to replace my old one. This radio turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. Very good speaker with treble and bass adjustment which helps a lot. Good sound on AM or FM. Brightness control has several choices from very dark to very bright. Easy to set the time. You can lock in your stations. Good reception. I would buy it again without hesitation. I believe Sangean makes good quality radios.

Very good for a "kitchen" radio.

We bought this to be used in the kitchen for local news, weather, and background music. For that purpose this one is perfect. I wouldn't want it to be the main radio for listening to music on FM, but it very well suits the purpose for which it was purchased.
