Its basic ethernet cat6 cable, it is capable of acheiving specified speed per rating. it is not insulated very well so it can get interference if you run this in an attic across power lines, also if you are planning on using this for POE, prior to doing attic or inside wall runs, uncoil this cable and do a test from your POE switch to the device you want to run, depending on the POE rating, (POE , POE ) if its a higher power device this cable will melt. Basic low power POE devices should work fine though. If it does not start smoking and melting after a few minutes it should be safe to run inside a structure, if it does start smoking unplug it and buy a different cable.

I cannot say enough about the quality and economical price of walmart brand on. I have never been disappointed. I own ear bufs,sound bar tablet and now the ethernet chord.
