The Reference R-12SW subwoofer uncovers what you've been missing in your music, movies and games -- clean chest-thumping bass. The high performance subwoofer provides deep bass and placement flexibility thanks to its front firing driver and all digital amplifier.
That Quiver You Feel Is Love. And Bass.
The R-12SW features a 12-inch copper-spun IMG driver that provides remarkably low frequency response with minimal cone breakup and distortion. The built-in all-digital amplifier delivers ample power with high efficiency and true-to-source accuracy in reproduction. The low pass crossover and phase control allows you to blend the subwoofer's low-frequency tones with other Klipsch speakers as well as establish the ideal level of bass.
The R-12SW is housed in a durable MDF cabinet and finished with a brushed black polymer veneer. The front-mounted LED power indicator lets you know when the system is powered on or off. You've been warned.
Spun Copper IMG Woofer
Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) woofers are exceptionally light while being extremely rigid - providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.

I was looking at the R120SW initially, but found out the the R12SW was the same thing, just the older versio for less money. The sound is amazing, and is super easy to hook up. I have mine jacked through the Auxiliary on my Sherwood receiver. With the two speakers I had from a stereo I purchased in 1989, this sub made it come alive.

Exactly what I needed. This is the 4th subwoofer I tried and I am keeping it. It gives rich pure clean bass without any distortion. Decent size not too heavy. I am happy with the purchase. Too early to comment on durability ,I don't think it is an issue because of the brand. No 1/4 inch or XLR input/output, I guess because it meant for home, not for outdoor/ PA/ DJ events
