I'm totally impressed. It hits as hard as much more expensive makers. It's a great value at its rather low end price. If you want a system to have a good full range if you already have decent surround system this sub will give you that pounding bass you hear in cars. music or movies it is universal as it can be. to those that say it has weak bass they either are using a tiny RCA wire if that's possible or they went from a $800 speaker to this $200 sum dollar speaker and expected too much

This Bass Box works super with my Sony AN1000 AV system with other speakers sound which are attached when used with Surround mode and music without any distortion. Just need plug-in connection, like the AV system. Color of the Base box matches good.(Solid Black)
