Jazz Biography

Lionel Hampton was an American jazz vibraphonist, pianist, percussionist, bandleader and actor. Hampton ranks among the greatest names in jazz history, having worked with a who's who of jazz musicians, from Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, and Buddy Rich to Charlie Parker, Charles Mingus, and Quincy Jones.
