Fresh Green Cabbage, Each

I love cabbage on my no carb diet! I make ground turkey with onions, green bell pepper, etc. and the wrap that in a cabbage peel and it's so yummy!! It helps me lose weight and keep it down eating without the carbs like rice or bread!! Delivery gave me a beautiful 6-inch sized head, thank you Walmart!

I am adjusting to how much drier produce is here in the desert so if you are going to ferment the cabbage, just be advised to expect less natural brine than if you bought these in the Midwest. But, once the fermentation is done, this cabbage will taste just as great. I make German style sauerkraut regularly, so I don't need a pretty cabbage or even a perfect cabbage. One other note is that it takes a little longer to get the cabbage as soft as I prefer, but for those looking for that crisp texture, you might find the drier nature of this produce to be a plus.
