Fresh Yellow Squash, Each

Buying any produce from Walmart is a gamble. Potatoes I have ordered go bad in less than a week, asparagus rots in 3 or 4 days. The squash are very much the same boat. A lot of times at least some of these are right on the cusp of going bad. They are also handled roughly during harvesting, transport and stocking. If you DO buy these, make sure to use them quickly.

I love doing Walmart orders I am semi disabled, so it helps me a lot but the only problem I have is sometimes some of the items in produce and frozen food just doesn’t come in the way you want them to or the way you think they would look if you were shopping for yourself. For example, I would not buy produce that looked brown or shriveled so it confuses me as to why the shoppers just pick that for the customer.
