Summer meal side dish for any meat.

The best and largest Butternut Squash I have ever seen. It cooked p great in my microwave after splitting in half. It gave me 3 large 2cup without having to helpings which I put into twist top containers for my freezer. I will have them as additions to several summer meals without a lot of fuss. I added brown sugar and butter mixed in before freezing.

Great and versatile for savory %26 Sweet dishes

I love this type of squash. You can peel it, cube it and smother it in your favorite oil and spices then roast it. I love split it length wise and place it upside down on a cookie sheet and bake it. From there I bake cookies, bars and pies with it, or smash it like mashed potatoes. It is such a great tasting squash.
