I've been using these notebooks for my "bullet journals" since 2015 and they pretty much go everywhere with me. From the perspective of bullet journaling, the layout of the notebook (# of lines per page, etc.) isn't ideal, but the compact size and durability are the reasons I keep using them. The notebooks recommended for the bullet journal system are just too big and impractical to carry around; I've looked at other options and came to the conclusion that the *74 series is probably the best I'm going to get for that purpose. I can put this in the back pocket of every pair of pants I own--if the notebook doesn't fit in the back pocket, I won't buy the pants, but fortunately I don't think I've encountered too many back pockets these notebooks don't fit in. I'm a film photographer and I use manual cameras, so having the notebook right in my back pocket allows me to record the settings and conditions of each shot I take. I don't think that process would be nearly as convenient with a larger notebook. It really can't be overstated how perfect the size of these notebooks are--and I can't figure out why this size of notebook isn't more widely available. I _do_ wish that there were different options available for the page patterns other than the universal pattern, but at this point I've accepted it and learned to live with it for the entries I make and the data I record.
