My husband and I have severe arthritis. I have both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Pain is just part of our life. The equate brand of Ben-Gay is way better than the name brand. We switched years ago. Recently there seems to be a shortage of the equate muscle rub and we were forced to use the name brand and we did not like it. Every year at the start of cold weather the equate brand gets hard to get. Please, please look into why this is and have stores stock more. For anyone wondering if this muscle rub is good, it's great. I wish Walmart would make it with lidocaine too

I have had lifelong pain issues and have tried everything. This is by far the best topical pain reducer. Yesterday, again, I used it on a stabbing shoulder and it went away the rest of the day. It's not for everything: stomach aches, nerve pain, etc it won't help; but for those muscle aches, rheumatism, etc, it's amazing. Compare the ingredients to the name brand ones and only get one with all three.
