I received this product in exchange for an honest review. Dabble is a fun and engaging game that is easy to set up, easy to learn, and a quick to play. There are a couple different versions/suggestions of how to play Dabble - one with a timer and another without the timer. I think when playing with a mixed group (kids and adults), we found playing without the timer was more fun and less stressful. We have played many times and it's different every time. There are lots of positives: learning new words, improving spelling skills, and also remembering to help each other, encourage one another, and complimenting one another. Another interesting outcome has been building strategy and questioning choices like do you build the five and six letter words first? If you have the blank tile, how best do you use it? Do you break up the smaller words for a chance to make words with a higher score? Or is it best to complete your board first for the bonus points? All pieces fit in the box easily so clean up is quick. The kids are eager for their cousins to visit so they can play Dabble with them.

It's a fun way to help with spelling for younger children. My family loved being able to try to make words from limited letters and the timer makes it a fast paced game. If you have children in your family that are into word games this is perfect for you.
