I had to have emergency back surgery a yr ago. We bought this recliner after trying a few others, and it's been amazing, so much so i bought another one a week later for a total of 3 in the last two weeks. The soft padded comfort is amazing on my back and will definitely makes it superconfy. it was super easy to put together and its light compared to heavierchairs. orginaally purchased two and within a week had to buy a third because my gson refused to sit on the couch and took my chair. Would totally recommend it, and the price tryly makes this chair a gem in the sand. My oldest had orginaally bought one of these a yr ago and it held up to the wear and tear of children and her dogs and it prompted us to buy our first one and will definitely replace with these when the time comes
