The Armed Forces Service Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon can be awarded to service members in direct support of the United Nations or North Atlantic Treaty Organization and for assistance operations to friendly nations. Was instituted to all services in 1996 for service done between 1995 and the present day. Comes in a multicolored stripe pattern throughout the ribbon and is ready to be worn on official uniforms. Armed Forces Service Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
