Duxtop 1800W Portable Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner, Black 9100MC/BT-M20B

This is a really nice Induction Cooktop. I looked around a lot before I purchased this one and almost fell into the trap of buying a very expensive commercial brand to ensure quality. The quality of the Duxtop meets all of my expectations. It heats up extremely fast and I don't have to wait around forever for water to boil anymore. I only have one small criticism - I wish they included more use and setting explanation in the user manual. They do have some basics and I'm sure this is just an issue for newbies to induction cooking (which I am), but it took me a while to figure out what level to set it so I didn't burn my eggs. But now that I'm, dialed in, I absolutely love it. If you are on the fence because you are worried about quality, you won't go wrong with this cooktop.

This is my 3rd Induction burner. I use them every day. The things I like about this one are what make it so different from my other 2. -- Simplicity: There are only 6 buttons. Each button has only 1 function. From the left, buttons 1 and 2 give a choice of cooking by power level or temperature. Button 3 is a cooking timer. 4 lowers the level of the first 3 buttons and 5 raises the level. Button 6 is on/off. That's it! -- Practicality: There are 15 power levels The default cooking level is the middle one, which is what you're most likely to need. If not, you're likely to be just a click one side or the other to get to what you want. There are no pre-programmed buttons that change cooking temperature or time by some arbitrary amount. Dependability: The buttons require a definite push and you can feel the click. There's no sudden change of temperature or program because some article of clothing touched one of the buttons, as can happen with buttons requiring barely a light touch.
