GroundSmart 12+ Year Black Rubber Mulch, 75 Cu Ft

This is very light weight, much lighter than I expected. It's expensive and does not cover much ground. Having said that, it looks great when finished. It's very easy to spread with a gloved hand. It did not have any residue on it that I noticed. I bought this to use in several areas but first placed this around a tri-colored beech tree that I have. It will not attract insects like other mulches. It is rated to last 12 years, but I am hoping for more since this is all shaded. I think this makes the tree look much better and will help protect it and keep it healthier. I used Preen ground cover first to help prevent weeds. I also used lawn edging. They make a spray glue that you can use to help keep this stuff from blowing and/or washing away, but it is very expensive too.
